This is a great product! Easy to install and keeps my big dog from trying to dig out under the gates in the yard. This is a really challenging area and these plates are a fantastic solution!
I purchased this to build up a gate threshold on a slope to close the gap that our dog was able to get through. I used base sand and gravel to build it up and then added the gate plate on top so my dog would not be able to dig it and finished the top with gravel. It looks great and does the trick! My only challenge I faced when tapping in the parts that go into the ground was keeping it straight. I would rubber mallet one area and another would pop up. I found a scrap piece of wood to lay across to keep it straight and that seems to work ok.
Product has done what it was designed to do. So far, it has kept my neighbors dog from entering my yard.
