This particular model of Dig Defence® is the XL model, with dimensions of 24 inches in length and 15 inches in depth, and tines spaced 1 1/2 inches apart. It provides maximum protection and is suitable for repairing deep gaps.

This pack option includes 10 feet of protection, and we offer other options for linear protection:

They are in place and time will tell if, Dig Defence keeps out the critters. It was a 35 lb raccoon that was digging its way under my garage. I have since, live trapped the raccoon and relocated him. Great product!

I own a Wildlife Damage Control Company. I use Dig Defence exclusively for ground hog and skunk deterrence. Works great. A lot better than breaking your back digging trenches and burying hardware cloth.

Rocky start

I’m using these to stop muskrats from digging under my timber Seawall which undermines the beach.
It would work better if the rod ends were pointed like a pencil to get through the rocky base.
Otherwise it looks like it will do the trick
I’m using 2-1/2” fence staples to secure each panel to the Seawall.

Michael, thanks for the review! We appreciate the feedback, we actually keep the tines blunt to keep down any chance of injury for animals, if you do come across more 'stubborn' ground, try using the speed tool or a length of 2x4 wood to place on top for added assistance.

It works!

We have a 70 lb lab mix that has been doing a number on our yard. We thought all was lost when he turned his attention to the fence. He was escaping the backyard at least 3 times a week until we got dig defence. So far, all of his attempts to dig his way out have been unsuccessful. Now we can rest easy knowing he is safe and secure. Thank you, Dig Defence!

Excellent product

Perfect Solution

These covered the four areas of our chain link fence that had raised areas at the bottom creating holes too big for comfort for our two dachshunds to tunnel through. I’m happy.

Love these barriers

It is a perfect, quick and easy solution when rabbits/woodchucks bite openings into my vinyl chain link fence. One of my dogs likes to find the holes and escape. He also will dig to make the hole bigger.
